South Lincoln is excited to welcome Dr. Stacy Cunningham as our new 8th grade ELA teacher!
Dr. Stacy Cunningham looks forward to meeting the students and families of South Lincoln Elementary School. She is a Philadelphian who moved to Huntsville, AL many years ago to attend Alabama A&M University on a swimming scholarship. She loves her hometown, but she has definitely fallen in love with the South. She is a proud graduate of both Alabama A & M University and Samford University. She received her Bachelor of Science (1991) and Master’s degrees (1995) in Language Arts Education. She later earned her Educational Specialist (2011) and Doctoral (2022) degrees from Samford University. Dr. Cunningham has recently retired from the state of Alabama. Her many years of high school classroom instruction include teaching English 9, 10, 11, 12, AP Literature, Theatre 1 and 2, and ACT Prep. She also served as a curriculum specialist in a middle school. Dr. Cunningham loves to travel, shop, and cheer for her Philadelphia Eagles during football season. She is excited about sharing her love of English with her students. Go Eagles! #oneLC # EagleStrong
