Hello there Parents!
Feeling like a circus juggler with all the elementary school chaos? Don't let library day add to the mayhem! Here is a nifty trick I teach kids:
YOUR BOOKS SHOULD EITHER BE IN YOUR HANDS OR YOUR BACKPACK.
Forget about leaving them on your nightstand or bookshelf - that's a recipe for disappearing acts! Treat them like your trusty homework folder: in your backpack when not reading, out when it's story time. Stick to this and you'll never play hide-and-seek with your library books again. They'll be your backpack buddies, tagging along to school like loyal shadows.
Just a little tip from Hilary Hardin, your friendly SL Library Media Specialist!
