Students may dress up next Thursday, October 31st. School appropriate attire must be worn.
Costumes should be family friendly.
They may not be gory, threatening, or offensive.
Students may not wear masks.
Students may not carry hand-held accessories, real or pretend (i.e., wands, weapons, etc.).
Crowns or hats may be worn.
Students may not wear inflatable costumes.
Costumes must avoid stereotypes.
Students and volunteers may not dress up as an ethnic or cultural group, and skin color may not be altered to look like another race.
Costumes should reflect characters found in books (movies usually start as books), biographies, or nonfiction book material (careers, animals, etc.).
